Selling Expenses
Selling Expenses are expenses directly incurred in connection of selling goods, i.e. all the activities performed to sell goods and related to the earning of sales revenue.
In the Income Statement such expenses are presented separately to provide information to the users on how much the business spends on selling efforts comparing to other expenses and comparing to the sales revenue.
